Kaspersky’s antivirus software provides you with, in our opinion, the best all around virus protection for your PC. Its virus detection and removal score is second only to Norton by a minimal amount which is made up easily by their superior anti-spyware feature and added firewall.

Our reviewers had a hard time finding something negative to say about the software but if there is one area they could use a little work, it would be with the scan speed. If you are performing a complete scan of your PC with Kaspersky, chances are you will see a slight performance change if attempting to work as usual during the scan. This should not be too much of an issue however as the quality of the scan Kaspersky offers is well worth letting it take its time.

Whether you’re a first time antivirus user or consider yourself an expert, you can’t go wrong with Kaspersky’s latest antivirus.

In independant tests, Kaspersky's latest was able to successfuly detect and remove 98.4% of malware, second only to Norton by 0.3% while keeping 'false positives' to a minimum. Their spyware feature scored at 98.3%, a few percentages above Norton making it our top recommended antivirus overall.
