Protection
Norton 360 Version 3.0 uses its top rated virus protection technology found in its stand alone antivirus (Norton Antivirus 2010) to detect and remove threats. In independent testing, 98.7% of malware was successfully detected and removed which is the highest score seen out of all software reviewed. As far as 'false positives', tests showed none at all, matched only by Eset NOD 32.
The anti-spyware feature however scores only a touch lower than that of both Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 and Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 software with a detection and removal rate of 95.4%; still a very high score.
The bundle comes with a spam filter which in comparison to others needs a little work. In independent testing, a few spam emails were able to get through while some legitimate emails were considered as spam.
Their firewall feature works perfectly passing all port-scan tests and showing better results than Window's built in firewall. It works automatically without giving you pop-ups every few minutes though for advanced users, you can choose to turn this automation off and receive pop-ups when a possible intrusion is detected at which point you can choose to act as you wish though we recommend letting the software do its job and saving yourself from a few unneeded headaches.
The addition of parental controls and identity theft protection help give Norton a few added points for this criteria however when comparing to the individual software included in the Real Broadband Essentials by developers who are considered industry leaders in their respected fields, these areas are a little weaker.
The protection provided by Norton's 360 Version 3.0 software bundle covers every area imaginable with great results overall.

Customer Service
Phone, email, and live chat support is offered by Norton for all products reviewed. We have tested each to assure quality and have received thorough email responses within 2 days, and helpful assistance from their live chat and phone reps that in our opinion seemed very knowledgeable of the individual products.
Ease of Use
The layout of Norton's complete security bundle is very easy to use with the user in mind. For beginners, the standard and default options are recommended and will provide great protection without the need for any tweaking as the software runs smoothly in the back keeping your computer safe. For advanced users, there is a centralized software which can help you tweak and customize every option imaginable all from one screen, saving you time getting things set up right.
Cost
Here is one of the strong points with Norton 360 Version 3.0. The software comes with 3 licenses meaning you can install and use the software on 3 separate household computers for a very reasonable price. It would actually cost you more to buy individual licenses and protect 3 computers with some of the stand alone antivirus software review where you would get only a fraction of the security features.
This is an easy economical choice over every other software reviewed:
Conclusion
This is the economical choice for anyone looking for a complete security software protecting you from all major threats and much more, leaving you with piece of mind when surfing the web and assuring top performance from your PC.
Its antivirus is the highest scoring of all software reviewed while a little works still needs to be done with their anti-spam and spyware feature.
Overall, for the price, you can't beat the protection you get from Norton 360 Version 3.0.
